Flea Market ☼

What a nice & sunny weekend! Everybody looks so much more happy these days! Yesterday my sister came home!! That means lots of giggling and funny conversations. She's so sweet lately. Actually she's the best. And my ideal shoppartner in crime. We decided to make a quick stop at our local secondhand store where I bought this floral beauty. Nice skirt with a liberty print, I think I once spotted a similar one at Urban Outfitters. I also bought a blouse which I'll show you later.

I have this strange habbit to immediately match a new piece with the other pieces in my closet :p

This morning we wake up quite early, the sun was shining in my eyes but I didn't mind! Flea Market time! The coolest thing to spend your sundaymorning. There was a little fleamarket a few blocks from our appartment and a friend of mine was selling all her stuff. Weird picture:

Say Hello to My New Skirt

Skirt: Zara - Necklace: H&M

Aangezien ik deze week opnieuw int stad moest zijn om T-shirts voor mama te kopen (dezelfde als de mijne zie vorige post) vlug eens langs de Zara Home en Zara gepasseerd. Man man, in de Zara Home ist niet meer normaal. Ik denk dat ze daar niet meer door die vensters kunnen zien van mijn gedrewl :p. Er stond een opgemaakt bed met de nieuwe collectie beddengoed en ik zou er zo ingesprongen zijn en er een eeuw in geslapen hebben -ofnee tot de examentijd over was-.

En dan in de Zara viel ik als een steen voor dit rokje. Het voelt zo zacht als een teddietje omdat er zijde in verwerkt zit. En het fladdert zo vrolijk als een vlindertje rond je benen omdat het zo'n licht stofje is. Heerlijk. In H&M kocht ik dan ook nog deze ketting.

ENGLISH: Anyway...Yesterday I made my first milkshakes this year and they were DELICIOUS. I'll make one again today, when I'll take a break from writing my masters thesis. Speaking of...I'm really fascinated by my subject this time, it's making more progress then I thought it would make. But still there is a long way to go, I'll better start working now. Le Rouge

Yesterday I left the clinic quite early and decided to go on a little shopping spree. I needed some basics. The weather was good and people enjoyed their drinks and snack outside in the sun. Oh I love Ghent even more when it's sunny. Toting around the old city center is one our (bf & I) favourite things to do.

I bought these 3 t-shirts (the red & greyish blue one in H&M: 7,95 euros and the striped one is from pimkie 12,95 euro). All 3 have the kind of sleeves I was searching for.

Yesterday's buys: sand-colored woven leather ballerinas and butterflies! Ze hadden inderdaad de dries vn noten schoenen (creme met zwarte tip en felgroene shiny hak --> supermooi) én heb ook Chloé sandalen gepast die ik fantastisch mooi vond maar schandalig duur. Het zijn deze ballerinas geworden (gekregen van de mama woeh), simpel, mooi en ik ga er veel meer geniet van hebben.

We moesten in Belsele zijn omdat we zakjes nodig hadden bij van deRemoortele, een magazijn met winkel/etalage/decoratieartikelen. Kim de Gelder heeft daar nog gewerkt blijkelijk :s toen dit in het nieuws kwam, was ik ffkes niet goed want wij gaan al jaren naar die winkel dus veel kans dat ik hem daar ooit al eens tegengekomen ben brrr. Gelukkig herinner ik me niks. Deze vlindertjes waren daar te koop als decoratie en natuurlijk moest ik ze kopen :p, was er helemaal weg van. Hun vleugeltjes bewegen op en neer! 

Daarna zijn we nog eens bij De Meester binnengesprongen, een horecamagazijn, waar ik een professionele grote kookpot gekocht heb :D. Jaja, ik ben aan mijn uitzet bezig haha. En daarna dus ff gepasseerd langs onze favoriete schoenwinkel. 

Volgende week mag ik eindelijk meelopen met de dierenarts!! ZO BLIJ...Ik ben eens benieuwd :). Nu ga ik jullie moeten laten, ik moet vertrekken vr diner @ Oostende. Mmmm

Multicolored Birdie

Decision of the day: From now on no more ridiculously overpriced clothes in my closet NAH!

Mijn nieuw doel: vintage en tweedehandskledij vinden met potentieel :), die mits wat creativiteit helemaal gepimpt kunnen worden. Mijn ondervinding is dat het gewoon leuker kopen is (niet dat knagende schuldgevoel van een enorme smak geld kwijt te zijn) én de uitdaging achteraf is groter. Natuurlijk blijf ik alles mixen met de (duurdere) basics/accesoires die ik al heb. En blijf ik letten op kwaliteit en duurzame materialen. Ik vond alvast mijn eerste nieuwe zomerkleedje voor dit jaar, samen met het perfecte leopard sjaaltje (0,75 euro) dat ik al zolang zocht. Me like!!!

En ondertussen spaar ik verder voor een uitgebreid trippie nr New York of Tokyo. Een droom die alsmaar dichter lijkt te komen... *excited*

Hehe look at my eyes at the first picture, normally I edit red eyes, but here the original one is good enough :p. I had a blast tuesday en yesterday evening! Tuesday I was invited at a friends house, we played games, ate muffins and drank white wine till 2 'o clock. Yesterday I went to the movies with some friends from school. We ordered tickets for Avatar & also got these awesome 3d glasses :p. Although I thought I wasn't going to like it at all, the movie really blew me away! It's phenomenal, a must see for everyone! Gotta walk my dog, hear you later!!

Treasure Hunting

Last friday my mom & I did a little shopping :D. We went to a clothing store nearby where mom bought an amazing cardigan. She absolutely didn't want anything black this time so I was with her to prevent her buying the 100000th black piece. Result: smashing turqoise and purple with silver details. Very flattering.

Afterwards we decided to make a quick stop to the local second hand store. The "hole of treasures"! I fell in love with these patent mary jane flats. I immeadiately saw Alexa Chung in it with a cute vintage dress and oversized blazer. Somehow the little heels remind me of the Ferragamo flats. I'm gonna wear them with sheer dotted tights, jeans shorts, my striped top. Or black/grey jeans, socks, knitted sweater, wool black long coat. Speaking of sweaters, can't get this cosy one out of my head...i would sleep in it!

The second thing I bought is this set of Azian bowls. I'm keen on wok cooking nowadays, now I have these bowl to serve rice in.

Today is kind of a lazy sunday. Me & my boyfriend went to a stone expo. Like you probably already suspected it was BORING. Stones there & there, stones everywhere. But I was surprised to see my bf's project. Beautiful! A real eyecatcher, well done hunnie =). Now i'm gonna just sit & relax, you should do it too! Have a nice sunday , kiss!

Winter Sales

As you can see I was feeling rather bored today...so I did a little photoshoot :p. Although I rrrrreally have to study for my 1 exam next monday, I couldn't refuse heading to one of my favourite store (fragine, deerlijk) for some -50 % shopping. The only thing I really needed was a pair of decent leather boots, but I came home with those 2 pieces: a rain jacket from Superdry and black blouse with open back from Chine Collection. No boots! typical. After my exam I'll go boot-shopping! My mom also wanted to go to Pierre-Paul in Kortrijk where they have D&G, Gucci and Dior but we didn't like the people who worked there, ieeeew.

Anyway...I'll do some quick studying (nooooooo) before I go to the boyfriend (yaaaaay) I want to squeeze him to dead, cause I missed him.
