Thursday the weather was magnificent. I spend the day sunbathing while studying. Also did a photoshoot with me and my dog :p. In the evening I went swimming and made pizza's. I think this was one of my last relax days of the coming next 2 months. aiaiaiaiia

Peem is doing 'Hop'

Wow, this is an old one :). Let me introduce you to my pumpkin Peem, if you didn't know him already. He is doing this silly tric, which I teached him, called 'Hop' (that's like 'Jump' in Dutch), but he hates doing the tric hahahah and he hates the cookie too. He's so weird :p. Don't mind my baby-voice, I'm always talking like that to my doggie. Come to think about it , I DO have a childish voice actually.  

Snowy Days & Conjuring Music

I started the day with a princess breakfast :-): heart-shaped gauffres my mom made & a big cup of creamy coffee. The pink plate was another treasure we found at the local second hand store (kringloop). And do you like the Moroccan teaspoon?

My mom also baked this yesterday: isn't it perfect?? My god she's becoming the queen of pastries.

Snow is all gone now :'(. The landscape was so extremely beautiful yesterday. I woke up with the sound of seabirds which gave me kind of a sea-feeling although I don't live at the sea.

My little pumpkin was is always a little sleepy when it's cold outside.

I put on a snowy white cardigan and colorful skirt to go to school later.

Now I have to prepare a paper on which we're going to work in groups. It's about dog/cat diets and stuff. Hope we'll be finished soon. In the meantime you can listen to some good music: here are 2 of my favourite songs of the Woven Hand's Blush music CD! Into the Wild part 3

So here's Johnny.He's an Odontolabis dalmani dalmani. Probably the ordinary Thai beatle. Don't mind the open pants, i was changing clothes the moment I decided to take these pictures :p, my bad. For the people who were wondering when I did the horse-embryo & pigfoetus post. I don't remember also, probably still on my old blog. But maybe I'll show them again some day. I am aware of the fact that it's kind of an lugubrious and sinister 'hobby', but in the eyes of a 'scientist' really it isn't! It's the most wonderful thing on earth (and ofcourse I like them better when they're alive sillies!!) The embryo & foetus were already dead in their mothers womb, the mother died of a disease. Our professor allowed us to take the babies home in some plastic gloves (which was really funny actually, I remember me & my friends walking home all excited with gloves filled with embryo's, strange sight). Then when I came home, I immediately soaked them in formaldehyde. They are great souvenirs from the course 'Embryology'.

Anyway...!

I had a tough day today at the clinic monitoring the patients who went in narcose. Now I still need to write a paper about anesthetics & stuff. I don't have the courage, i'm dead tired aarg. And my doggie urgently needs a walk!

Into the Wild part 2

I kissed a crocodile, but Schnappie didn't turn into a handsome prince :'(. You already meet Skully the dog skull, Wilbur the foetus pig and offcourse Rudolf the embryo horse. This one is another piece of my collection ;), a real alligator head. And look at his red eyeshine (see post below)!! There is only 1 animal left you didn't meet yet: Johnny the beatle. Maybe next time ;)

"Vandaag is ROOOOOD de kleur van jouw lippen, vandaag is ROOD wat rood hoort te zijn" Supervrolijk was ik vanmorgen toen ik luidkelend in mijn rode auditachtigtank naar huis reed. Ik kan zo hard meezingen met foute muziek, niet normaal. Broodje bakpao. Eigenlijk hield ik deze week vooral van foute dingen, fout zijn is heerlijk. Je moet niet vragen hoe de firma kaas & wijn-avond gisteren was! Jep jep jep, we zijn gesoigneerd geweest :o. Gratis glucosemeter, stilo's, notablok, toNNNen kaas en toNNNen Argentijnse Merlot Falling star wijn. 7 toerkes rond het rondpunt en veel gegiechel later, heb ik mij op Dorie haar zacht logeerbedje gesmeten en geslapen als een os. Vandaag wordt het alweer serieus: mijn anesthesie voorbereiden! Morgen werken (yes heb mijn job terug)! Overmorgen met mijn schattje naar een bouw? en euh stenen?beurs in Flanders Expo. Nee nee ik ben nog niet van plan een huiske te gaan bouwen, bijlange niet. Ik ga mn zoeti zijn werk/project daar eens van dichtbij gaan bewonderen. Toedeloes!!!

SNOW

It's snowing like crazy right now...! And it's so freezing cold. Yesterday evening me & Peem took a walk in the snow, he loved it :). Afterwards we ate pancakes mm. Today we're staying inside, sipping tea + cookies, studying a bit and watching good movies (Coen collection box)...Can't wait till wednesday, then christmasholidays officially begin for me!

About my sister going to fashion school and about my 1 day job...

YAY i finally have a job, too bad it's only for one day (sunday). But if I do it good, they'll want me to come back every sunday.

It's storming outside now, really bad weather. I'm making a new necklace with some neet beads I bought a while ago. Yesterday I had my sister on the phone: she passed the entrance exam (or how do you call this) @ the famous Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp!!! I'm so happy!!! and PROUD. The school is internationally well known for the legendary avantgarde fashion collective, the Antwerp Six. Martin Margiela went there! They selected 1 out of 10 people (600 people participated). So my sister is one of the 60 who passed. She had the best motivation interview, they said. As you can imagine, me so proud :D

Nog nieuws over mijn Peem! Jullie herinneren mss nog de foto's van zijn jongskes. Die waren van zijn 1ste nestje die hij bij Pepsi had. Daarna heeft Peem nog een tweede nestje gehad met even mooie puppies bij een ander teefke (jaja de vrouwkes zijn zot van mijne peem). En nu is hij aan het proberen voor een derde nestje bij zijn eerste en echte vlam Pepsi. Onlangs was ze loops en is ze dus op bezoek gekomen. Maarrr het ging niet zo goed als anders :( Peem is precies zijn skills kwijt :p. Ik steek het op de ouderdom (is waarschijnlijk ook zo). Dus ik vrees ervoor. Volgens mij gaat het noppes worden. Net nu papa beslist heeft van een jongske van Peem te nemen. Een nieuwe puppy!!! *spring spring*. Ik wil echt zo graag eentje. En tzou de max zijn dat het eentje van peemie zou zijn. Maarja :s met zijn 11 jaar...Dus dermee dacht ik gisteren aan de allerlaatste optie: kunstmatige inseminatie! Nu nog het baasje van Pepsi overtuigen...

Peem in't nieuw

Gisteren lag peemke superschattig in zijn nieuw bedje :p. We brachten een nieuw kussen met broderie en een bijpassende plaid (superzacht!) mee van onze trip nr de Ikea. Hij ligt graag met zijn koppie onder zn dekentje. Hij is de koddigste van de wereld. LOVE YOU.

Noorderwal Walk

I had so much fun today. My friend and I and our dogs (Pemel & Amélie) took a long walk. We have beautiful nature over here. My dog and his girl crush Amélie were constantly playing and running over each other :p. Tomorrow my doggie gets to see his male crush & ultimate playmate Arthur (also a Jack Russel Terrier). Yes indeed, my dog is a bisexual. Ok, gotta go now to make dinner

Kitchen Fever

I like being in the kitchen. The kitchen is the center of the house, not the livingroom! When we have guests, they spontaneously take a seat in the kitchen. Even Pemeltje adores the kitchen and the delicious smells of moms cooking ;).
