Le Rouge

Yesterday I left the clinic quite early and decided to go on a little shopping spree. I needed some basics. The weather was good and people enjoyed their drinks and snack outside in the sun. Oh I love Ghent even more when it's sunny. Toting around the old city center is one our (bf & I) favourite things to do.

I bought these 3 t-shirts (the red & greyish blue one in H&M: 7,95 euros and the striped one is from pimkie 12,95 euro). All 3 have the kind of sleeves I was searching for.

Marrakech: 3de in de ranking na Tokyo en NewYork...Als ik eens veel geld ga hebben :p. Ik wil de slangenbezweerders zien, de specerijen ruiken, het zand proeven en de zon voelen, de muezzin vijf maal per dag horen zingen, verloren lopen in de medina en bijna overreden worden door paard&kar.

Dit lang weekend was het weekend van het culinair genieten mmm...dankzij de mama uiteraard.

Koffiekoeken, pralines, amandelkoekje, paastaart,...

Om nog maar van haar wekelijkse broodbakte (mm vijgen+notenbrood) te zwijgen. Ok that's it, ik ga haar verplichten om een bakkerij te openen.

Yesterday we had a cosy relaxing evening. We ordered some sushi from Sushi Food ghent (which is so yummmmy) and watched American Gangster. Too bad I can't tell you whether it's a good movie or not cause I fell asleep somewhere in the middle of the movie. I'm such a wussie :p.

Sevan is BY FAR my favourite jewelry designer!!! It's the kind of jewelry kings,queens,sheiks and arabian princesses would wear. His designs just breath the spirit of Istanbul. You can see the most beautiful temples and palaces in it. My favourite is the big blue one coverd with the little mosaic stones and several temples within the large one. AMAZING. DUTCH: Mam was degene die Sevan voort eerst ontdekte. Toen ze terugkwam van Istanbul en later Marrakech en Egypte, miste ze enorm de sfeer en de pracht van het Midden-Oosten. Toen ze de ringen van Sevan hier in België voort eerst zag, werd ze helemaal verliefd, vnl op 1 ring, die ze paar jaar later onverwacht van papa kreeg. De ring lijkt het meest op de eerste rechts naast de foto van sevan, maar dan met paarse edelsteen en hij overtreft alle ringen die ik al ooit zag. Van elke ring bestaat er maar 1. Als ze nog eens nr Istanbul gaat, mag ik mee en bezoeken we Sevan in zijn atelier :) wooh!
