Hi peeties!

Yeez I feel like a herd of cattle ran over my brain and smashed it to the wall...Mentally Tired. The next few days are going to be..BAD. Have to work in the clinic at my school + 2 exams at the same time. I'll let you know if I survived ;) Hear you on monday, maybe next tuesday.

My sister mailed me the 2nd picture :p. Because she knows I adore poodles. But this poor little thing doesn't look happy. Ofcourse not, a dog detests to get washed and certainly do not want to be put in a scary washing machine in his own!!! Dogs get traumatised thanks to these stupid ideas of their owner! I guess only exists in Japan?

And I posted the 1st picture because I'm still in lo-o-o-ve with the Miu Miu shoes. And it's a good picture too.

Starring 'de karookabba' haha (denk dat enkel oost-vlamingen dit woord gaan snappen ma bon :p). Hmm ff geen zin om in het engels te schrijven. Ze moeten maar nr de prentjes kijken en naar de muziek luisteren. Dit kleedje kreeg ik ooit eens van een collega van mama, het zat in een zak vol kledij die ze niet meer moest hebben. Nu die collega toen nog erg jong was een PRACHTvrouw. Slank, ellenlang zwart sluik glanzend haar, van nature een prachtige bruine huid,...nuja type fotomodel. Ik weet nog dat toen ze trouwde haar trouwjurk helemaal niet van het bombastische soort was die je zoveel zag in die tijd. Nee, gewoon een eenvoudig bodycon wit kanten kort jurkje. Niet meer dan dat. Zo'n jurkjes waar de rekken nu van uitpuilen in H&M en Zara. Alles komt terug. Alles wordt herkauwd met toevoeging van hedendaagse elementen. Dat is wat mode boeiend maakt he. Jammer genoeg zat dat jurkje toen niet in die zak maar wel veel andere leuke dingen: moschino-rokjes, wikkel boleroos, een zwart topje met open rug, een zwarte bloes met cut-out schouders en ik geloof zelfs een levis-shortje. Toen was ik mss 11 jaar, en kon ik niks daarvan dragen natuurlijk. Dit kleedje heb ik gelukkig nooit weggedaan. Altijd al fun gevonden.

Anywayy nu vrijdag mijn eerste examen. En daarna zal het als een sneltrein gaan. Het vak dat ik nu aant blokken ben, wetgeving, is het saaiste wat ik al ooit geblokt heb. En heeft bijzonder weinig met diergeneeskunde te maken. Rechtbanken, hof van beroep, hof van cassatie, eerste aanleg, pf not my cup of tea. Heb er al aan gedacht om mn vriendin die advocate is te sturen in mijn plaats.

Maar het vlot wel dat vak. Raar genoeg. Vandaag eens een tandje bijsteken zodat ik mss vanav er een ander vak kan bijpakken.

Gisteren de hele dag zooo'n mooi weer maar ik kon me pas savonds ontspannen. Ik had al de hele dag zitten verlangen naar een sangria en ik heb er dan gisteren ook 2 zalig lekkere gemaakt vr ik en mn zoeti. Bomvol aardbeien. En dan erna een onverstoorde, lange nachtrust. Meer moet het leven nt zijn in den blok. XXX

Now, ofcourse this post should include a Sonic Youth song. Tom already posted one on his blog. Always loved their 'Superstar' cover (--> original 1971 The Carpenters) also on the soundtrack of 'Juno'. You all know it, it should be in the top 10 of most timeless cover songs.

Zorro

Hi darlin's !!

Haha i know: another photo from my bed series. This time I'm playing Zorro. Still studying my ass off, nothing new here. I need stories from you! Stories from the world outside, what"s happening in the world? What's happening in your life? Please tell me!

I'm daydreaming a LOT recently...about the days, weeks after june 28 that are coming. When I'll finally be free. About spare time with everyone I love. About my upcoming road trip (so excited, i'll tell you more about it soon). About life without school (pretty scary). About what I'll become and which direction to take.

The only thing I DO know about my future is that I'll buy/adopt a puppy poodle. Havn't decided which color (black,white,abricot) yet. My avatar picture already predicted this, I should have known. My boyfriend isn't that happy with my decision but I know he secretly wants a poodle too hahah. Or at least a doggy. Luckily. But he's too much macho to admit it. NAH. hiih love you hunny.   

I'm glad most of you appreciated the Belgian song in my previous post! I'll let you hear 2 belgian other songs to brighten up your sunday. They are more commercial (esp the second one) but verrrry catchy! They're on my musiclist for this summer.  

First song is Daan - Icon. He's our Belgian Johnny Cash, or that's what he's called. Maybe you're already familiar with his songs Housewife and Swedish Designer Drugs.

 

And then the second song is from a young guy (my age!) from Brussels who scored a gigantic hit with this catchy song. If you like french rap/hiphop and a cool beat, then this will be addicting. It screams SUmmer & party. Stromae - Alors on danse.

O yeah another thing, a few days ago when I went shopping for birthday presents I came across this wellknown zara dress. I didn't buy it because i'm in my saving money period and I'm regretting that now! Hope they will make lots of miumiu inspired clothes :) still not tired of this one or this one yet.

Just read that Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist is coming to Belgium tomorrow. He wants to visit Brussels and is giving a booksigningsession in Maasmechelen Village outlet centre. To bad he isn't signing in Ghent :p, then I would be there. but Maasmechelen village??? I mean common, what a shithole! And it's 100 km from Brussels. And it's a boring shopping mall, not a village! Nothing exciting to see for him either, hopefully he gets the chance to visit Brussels or else I think his idea of Belgium will be a bit :s :s :s :p.

Yesterdayevening was fun :). goofing around with my bf in the swimming pool and sauna and afterwards we celebrated my sisters birthday with bubbles and good food. Today's another boring study day for me. Luckily, I still have my background music to listen to. International readers: here's a Belgian song which I find genius! I'm so proud of our Belgian bands. Wazaaaa it's MONDAY again! This is a typical monday mornin picture so bad so bad :D haha. Hope you all had a good night. I dreamed a LOT this night. I was haunted by old cowboys somewhere in the desert. And then I got hurt by a flesh-eating cactus...Not funny. Anyway, today lots of studying planned again , gotta stick to my schedule. My reward will be a visit of my boy tonight. \0/ yay \0/!!!

Headband overload! I know. But I love wearing these. I made a schedule for this week: half a day at the clinic and half a day working on my thesis. Maaan, why there are almost NO publications about ferrets? I have to fill 20 pages with text about the bladder(abnormalities) of the ferret. Hmmz. Ok, I'll better start now. Here is some music for you! To my Belgian readers: In case you havn't heard the new rockrallywinners single yet, New Kids in Town by School is Cool, here it is. I kinda LIKE it! :) They deserved to win. (wel een muttige groepsnaam :s)

I own this blue velvet blazer for a few years now. Can't help it, but I'm still crazy about it. I wore it on my first date with my boyfriend! I'm sure he can't remember though :p, but I do! It will stay with me forever, this is going to be an amazing vintage piece some day, I tell you! It also reminds me of the David Lynch movie every time I wear it. Did you ever see the movie? You should watch it!!! Timeless.
